I'm Mariam I'm a Senior Product Designer at Raspberry Pi Foundation. Previously I was Co-founder of Fricanduo; a design studio that works with young businesses and startups to take their ideas from concept to product while collaborating with next-generation creative talent from African countries.

 

I have worked as a designer, educator and consultant on projects with companies and organisations including the UN, Facebook, Livity, RaspberryPi Foundation, Nominet and Samsung. 

 

My vocational and personal mission is to strive for inclusivity; I'm always considering accessibility and diversity throughout my design process and I'm always trying to push teams around me to do the same which is why I have also helped deliver courses around diversity and inclusion.
